Fernando González Urbaneja

Director of CONSEJEROS with more than 40 years of experience in economic journalism. He was the founder and editor-in-chief of El País, general editor of the business newspaper Cinco Días, and is a professor at Carlos III University. He has been president of the Madrid Press Association and the Spanish Federation of Press Associations, and is a member of the Complaints Commission of the Spanish Press.

The more we talk about “good corporate governance” and “social responsibility of boards”, we find its management team ¡under investigation by the National Court! And the middle managers, competent officials and professionals, between astonished and embarrassed by the shenanigans of their bosses and the long hands of commission agents and schemers sheltered by the ruling party and the Government itself.
