Arconas, the family Sainz de Vicuña's holding company, has emerged as a significant shareholder of Acerinox with a 3% stake in the Spanish manufacturer of stainless steel and high-performance alloys. The stake is valued at 125 million euros at current exchange rates and is equivalent to approximately 7.4 million shares acquired.

With the purchase of shares, the Sainz de Vicuña family positions itself behind Corporación Alba (the holding of the March family), which has a 19%; Daniel Bravo Andreu, who has 5.7%; and Goldman Sachs, which holds 4.8%. They are at the same level as activist investor Scott David Ferguson and the South African public institution IDC, both with around 3%.

Arconas International is an investment company based in Malta and linked to the Sainz de Vicuña family, used as a vehicle to channel the wealth of Corporación Financiera Guadalmar, its family office.

The operation reinforces the presence of relevant private investors in Acerinox and demonstrates confidence in the company's recent strategy and results. It also diversifies the shareholding, traditionally dominated by Alba and international funds.
